A PM haunted by regime change in his own bunker | the Daily Mail

I don't often link to the Mail. It is a very disreputable source. But this is irresistible and probably about right.
It is Houdini time for Mr Blair again.
The Mail is also unsure whether he will defeat his wet Labour rebels or even form an alliance with rebel right wing tories.

Yes sir, that is the true Blair position.

It is also possible that his commercial contacts have been busy making friends elsewhere in the Cabinet and even at No10. If so, no wonder there has been no rush to defend him from these quarters. And now we learn that the wife of Mr Blunkett's successor, John Hutton, is a former civil servant who is paid to lobby her one-time colleagues on behalf of the gambling industry."
