Blair goes back to an old lie

It seems Blair still wishes us to blame France for failure at the UN.
Anyone who has studied this knows that there were never enough votes in the security council for Bush and Blair. France's veto never came into it.
The UN was against war. Blair broke International Law by ignoring the security council to back the criminal Bush regime.

End of story.

Independent Online Edition > World Politics: "Mr Blair told journalists: 'If you go back and look at what happened in March 2003, I think you will see that I made the most strenuous efforts to get a second UN resolution and to end up with a second resolution that would have given us more time. The fact is, we couldn't get one for a very simple reason: the French made it clear they would veto any such resolution.'"
